About NevilStone
NevilStone has over a half century of masonry experience behind it. Our family has owned and operated a number of masonry companies since 1950. Nevil Masonry Supply, Plano Cast Stone, Tejas Textured Stone, and Nevil Brick Supply were all a product of the Nevil Family. Nevil Masonry Supply, a chain of masonry supply houses, Plano Cast stone, which produces structural pre-cast products, and NevilStone, a producer of lightweight manufactured stone veneer, are all still in the family and going strong.
With four generations of masonry experience behind us, NevilStone will be here to serve you now and for generations to come.
Brad Nevil (President/CEO)
Brad graduated from Anna High School, a farm town north of Dallas. He attended Baylor University, where he studied business. While in college, he started Nevil Properties, with his then girlfriend Haley Walthall, which provided student housing for Baylor students.
Brad Graduated in 1996 and was accepted into Baylor’s MBA program, but was persuaded by his Father, Mike Nevil, to join the family business. He married Haley in 1998 and the two helped Mike operate Tejas Textured Stone until it sold in 2006 to the Pavestone Corporation.
Today he and Haley oversee the day-to-day operation of NevilStone. They are both committed to continuing the family business that was started by his Grandfather, E.O. Nevil.
When not working, Brad enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with Haley, children, and grandchildren. He is also committed to giving back to his church and community, as he is extremely grateful that God has blessed him with health, happiness and a wonderful family.
Haley Nevil (Director of Operations)
Haley graduated from Klein Forest High School in Houston, Texas. She spent much of her early years in and around construction sites as her Dad was a residential homebuilder. She began her college career at Baylor University, where she met Brad, however transferred her junior year to Texas Christian University. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree from TCU, but spent many of her weekends back in Waco helping Brad run Nevil Properties, a property management company.
She married Brad in 1998, and helped Brad’s father, Mike Nevil start Tejas Textured Stone, where she oversaw much of the operational duties. After having their first child in 2000, Haley took a step back to focus the majority of her time on being a mom. Once both children had started school, Haley stepped back in to manage the operations at NevilStone. She is quite thankful for the opportunity to help build on the legacy of the family business.
When not working she loves to spend time with Brad, her kids, and be a fantastic Honey to her grandchildren.
Reese Hammontree (Vice President of Sales)
Reese graduated from Greenbrier High School in Greenbrier, Arkansas. He studied at Central Baptist College while student coaching with University of Central Arkansas’ football program. Reese’s life and leadership have been shaped by strong values, love for people and commitment to excellence.
He met his wife, Ansley, while working summers at Pine Cove in Tyler, TX – a place that continues to influence his passion for mentorship and serve. Shortly after Reese and Ansley got married, he became Senior Agent with Lightwell Insurance, serving the East Texas Region.
Joining the family business, Reese is dedicated to carrying on the legacy of great customer service and establishing trust with old and new customers.
When he is not working Reese enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and kids, and serving in his church, where he invests in the next generation with intentionality and purpose.
A FAMILY TRADITION SINCE 1950
Our family has been in the Masonry industry since 1950. That’s three generations of “Stackers” as our Grandfather, E.O Nevil, used to call masons. He was a successful builder, developer and masonry contractor. Every day he would bring his son, Mike Nevil, my Dad, along with his brick crew, passing on his passion for the trade and teaching him the value of a hard days work. My Grandfather’s love of masonry was contagious, and in 1976, my Dad founded Nevil Masonry Supply, which distributes masonry products to Masonry Contractors. Then in 1987, Dad started Plano Cast Stone, which produces structural cast stone products. Nevil Masonry Supply currently has multiple locations in the DFW area and both companies are now owned and operated by our uncle, Bradley A. Nevil.
In 1995, we started Tejas Textured Stone, a company that produces manufactured stone veneer. After more than a decade of success, we sold Tejas to the Pavestone Corporation in 2006.
Through the years, ten members of the Nevil family have worked in this industry. And with the formation of NevilStone, we are excited to continue this legacy by once again becoming the low-cost provider of lightweight manufactured stone veneer.
We’re a family business, small enough to know you, and big enough to take care of you. We pride ourselves on the quality of our work, the integrity of our business, and the value of our relationships.
We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to grow our business and develop new relationships with you.
Thank you,
The Nevils
